Designed and developed an AI-powered chatbot for active disasters, integrated into Everbridge's Public Warning System. EU-funded and validated during a large-scale Red Cross exercise.
What started as a Machine Learning internship at Everbridge, turned out as a longer term employed project, where I worked with PROJECT ENGAGE to apply AI toward societal resilience. Over the course of a year, I created a concept and designed and developed a prototype of a chatbot for active disasters, integrated into One2Many-Everbridge's Public Warning System.
This EU-funded project was validated during a large scale Trondheim landslide exercise with the Red Cross, EENA and other ENGAGE consortium members.
In this project, there were international stakeholders, and interative design sessions where interactive prototypes were evaluated. I also had the opportunity to be a speaker at several workshops and conferences about the concept, in San Sebastian, Brussels and Amsterdam.
